July 6th and July 7th- Quebec City: Part I

A neat place we stopped in Vermont for lunch.
                                    A view
Entering Canada. Was much easier than we expected.

View from the Airbnb veranda (below), and view of me and John on the Airbnb veranda (above).

View of inside the Airbnb (above). Many comments made about being very happy to not be in the camper anymore!

July 7th….

A walk from our Airbnb to Old Quebec City (after a quick breakfast at a bakery near us.

And of course one of the first places we find is a bubble tea restaurant (below). Was a hot day, so two of u got bubble tea. The other two got water.
We went inside a Catholic Church….

The Frontenac (below), beneath a looming storm.

Lunch at a pizza place (below). As one can see, we are a bit wet.

Still raining a bit….we decided to try out the Museum if Civilization. Below is a photo of some performers, performing a skit, about something….en français.
The first exhibit we saw was one about gender diversity…

More exhibits were about indigenous people of Canada. By the point we arrived at this exhibit, the kids were ready to leave.
And here we are outside again. With Clear skies!

Here (below), Nora and Hazel are waiting for the Uber to pick us up and take us to the Ciel bar/restaurant. It took forever to get there because - unbeknownst to us before our trip - there was a big ten day festival happening in Quebec City (FEQ). This was day two of the Festival, and a Friday evening. Traffic was horrible. I believe the big band of the evening tonight was Imagine Dragons.
And here we are….dans le ciel.

Beaucoup des gents. (Below)

Beaucoup, beaucoup des gents (below).
Le Frontenac du le ciel (below).

After the adventure in traffic getting to this restaurant, we decided to walk back.
